Yesterday,we have talk about how to install CF card reader ,now let’s talk more about the usage of CF card: about ejecting the CF Card,formatting the CF Card and deleting Old Software Versions from CF Card.

After you updated your CF card successfull, you can display it according to your need.

A.Ejecting the CF Card:If you pull out the CF Card without ejecting it, you can lose data. So uaually you should

Open My Computer from your Desktop or the Start menu and Right-click Removable Disk. A pop-up menu appears.Click Eject.   

B.Formatting the CF Card: Formatting the CF Card deletes all of the files that are stored on it. You may
experience errors while trying to update your card. Formatting your card
clears the data and allows a fresh update to complete succesfully.You can Open My Computer from your Desktop or the Start menu and Right-click Removable Disk. A pop-up menu appears.Click Format.

Actually,this step is similar to the first step . However, you should remember that you may want to format your CF Card if you do not plan to use all of the car lines. Format your card first and then update it.

C.Deleting Old Software Versions from CF Card: Using the same  launch X431 Update software on your desktop.You should Double Click the X431 Update software icon on your desktop and Select the software versions you’d like to delete by placing a checkmark next to its name.Click the trashcan iconand then select ‘Delete’ when the program asks you to confirm the delete.
